Calendar Year 2008 Scheduled Closings
All regular University employees in active pay status (as defined in POLICY 105, EMPLOYMENT STATUS) will qualify for holiday pay.

HR 128 - Additional Training Credit
Human Resources Development Policy HR0128 was revised to encourage supervisors and managers to plan for 32 hours of professional development every year for faculty and staff as part of an overall career development plan, including conferences and programs both outside and within the university.  HR 128 FAQ's.

Non-Smoker Protection Act
The State of Tennessee has passed the Non-Smoker Protection Act.  This act, effective October 1, 2007, bans smoking in most Tennessee workplaces. For more information, read here.
