In order to maintain a healthy educational environment and workplace, the university has taken several steps related to smoking on campus.  All buildings are smoke-free. State law--effective July 1, 2006--requires that all smoking activity and all previously designated-smoking areas be moved outside.   For more information, please see Safety Policy SA0900, Smoking.
